A couple of weeks ago I was contacted about doing a wholesale order of my Service Flags for the ladies at Fort Riley, Kansas. Yesterday I finished them up, and as much as I love the things, it was a huge relief to be done with the project. I can knock out one in a couple of hours start to finish, but even with a good assembly line going, 10 flags was tedious work! Add to that spilling my Diet Coke all over them (and thankfully being able to at least salvage most of the start portions, phew!), it was a project I could not wait to finish!
I'm taking a break from the service flags for while, as I await my licence to manufacture them. I got a very friendly heads-up last week informing me of the rules (note - do your research when deciding to sell a product), and hopefully the Department of Heraldry won't take to long getting back to me.
Now I'm off to finish up a modern mini for a swap and then I need to tackle K's birthday quilt...by July 4th. =)
I'm waiting for my license to sell them too. Who knew you'd need such a thing. :)
