Blogger's Quilt Festival has come to an end, and I am so ecstatic to learn that #scrappytripalong won the best Quilt Photographer category. My photographer daddy's going to be so proud.
You can check out all of the winners HERE. Thanks again to Amy of Amy's Creative Side for hosting the fabulous festival, and thanks to all of the participants for the loads of inspiration in all of their beautiful quilts!
And I owe a special thanks to my hubby who is always ready and willing to hold a quilt up any crazy place I ask him to. Without him all of my quilts would be photographed laying on the ground or stuck to a chain link fence, and that's just not as pretty.

I've been a bad blogger lately, but wanted to give you a heads up - I have a really fun traveling swap idea rolling around in my head, just trying to iron out the details.

sweet! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYay! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I remember seeing this photo back months ago and thinking it was gorgeous. I asked what the machinery was and the mountain in the background. Great memory for you connected to a beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteIt is a great photo - if you aren't a quilter you would still like the composition of the photo. The machinery vs the softness of the quilt. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I wish my dh was willing to hold up my quilts
