I am so in love with this quilt!!! It was extremely tedious to make, with the sewing and the seam ripping and the sewing. And that is a ton of seams to match up. But I love it!
I made 36 squares and it finishes at 72" square.
Sorry for my lack of blogging lately, I've been working away on scrappytripalong and a new quilt for my parents, that I am so excited about, but I'll save it for another post.
I love it too! Well done, it's stunning
ReplyDeleteYour scrappy trip is beautiful! I love the soft colors and all the fun prints on the back! I like the way you quilted it too. I've only got 13 blocks done on mine, but I love it already.
ReplyDeleteThat is one very fabulous quilt. Enjoy!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, I luv it!!
ReplyDeleteI looks great. I love the colours. I have a couple of questions about the photos. What is the machine that you have hung it on? Is it a harvester? I come from a farm so was wondering. And which mountain is that in the background? It is impressive!
ReplyDeleteIt's the back of a train car. No farms for us =) And that is Mt Lomond in the background.
DeleteGorgeous! I wasn't into the Scrappy Trip Along until I saw your quilt.....now I think I'll have to make one too. I love your color choices and the backing....oh my....the backing could be it's own quilt. It's too pretty to be a backing! And that quilting must have taken FOREVER! I can see why you love it - it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteit's so pretty Lindsey! love how it came together!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute quilt!
