Little Boy Blue Finish Number Two

scrappytripalong #1 Little Boy Blue
My first, experimental, #scrappytripalong quilt is all done and really to be sent off to it's new home.
I used most of a fat quarter bundle I'd purchased for the QuiltCon Block Challenge (which I gave up on making when I realized I would not be going to QuiltCon and got all sad). I'm glad the orange from the original bundle was left out.
I made 9 blocks, which was the perfect size for a little baby quilt. With shrinkage it finished at 34" squared.
Well that was fast. Time to make binding.
Pre-wash and pre- crinkle. Sometimes I wish they'd stay this way, but then I do love a crinkly quilt!

Post-wash crinkly goodness.
I'm already started on a throw size one just for me. I can't wait to see the blocks come together!
15 strip sets finished last night #scrappytripalong
