Last WIP Wednesday of 2012

I almost forgot about WIP Wednesday, I've been so bad about it lately. But I can't miss out on the last one for the year!

My last quilt of 2012 is a custom quilt for a friend. My friend's grandma-in-law is going through cancer treatments and they wanted something for her to cuddle under. They chose Noteworthy as that fabric, and I think it is just perfect for such a quilt. Between Christmas and getting sick I haven't been working on it as quickly as I'd like, but now both have pretty much passed and I am back to work. (And don't worry it is going to be thoroughly washed to get my sicky germs off of it before it is sent out.)

I had a last minute Christmas order I finished last week, a throw size custom tree carving. It's super wrinkly from being left in the dryer but I had to be quick to get it sent out (and it was snowing when we did the pics so I was just snapping quickly)

So my end of the years stats (because this will be done by the 31st):
2012 Finishes: 32 Quilts + a few other sewing projects (fabric letters, bear carriers)
Unfinished (or not even started): 26 projects
Check back on December 31st for my year in review and preview of what is to come.

  1. I might try that squiggly line quilting. The quilt is very pretty and I know the grandma will love snuggling underneath.
