My quilting priorities might be changing - still trying to decide. More on that another time. But along with that I decided to forgo quilting the pile of quilts destined for my Etsy shop, and instead I dug into the Monster Mash (and Bella Solids Black) jelly rolls I bought a couple months ago and thought would have to wait until next year. What's more apt for a Halloween quilt than a spider web quilt?
I also started playing around with some mini Drunk Zebra blocks - I can't wait to show you, but I need to see how it turns out first.I had a couple of finishes this week as well. Yay!
Remember these?
They started out as a charm pack from the line Dress Up Days (you can get 4 1" hexies for one charm). I started basting them back in June and have been slowly hand stitching them together (alternating with working on Lucy's Crab Shack hexies, more on them another day).
I finished them up the other night and quilted them up. Now I have an adorable little doll quilt, which will have a doll to accompany it at some point before Christmas, and will be a sweet little gift for my niece. =)
I really love doing the zig zag echo quilting on hexies! And I had the perfect variegated thread to use for quilting.
I also finished up my Treasure Boxes quilt for Tracey's quilt-a-long. I need to get some better photos, but I wanted to share.
